Jules-Guillaume Friol founded XBO Advisory in 2016 with the primary goal to bridge the West and the East in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions.
He has developed a unique understanding of China’s business environment through more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and strategic advisory. Over the period, he has advised numerous Global Fortune 500 and portfolio companies of private equity funds in their growth strategies and M&A transactions in China and, more largely, in Asia.
He holds a master’s degree in Humanities from Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan and a master’s degree in Finance from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. He also holds a graduate certificate from in Economics from Peking University.
He speaks fluent French, English, and Mandarin Chinese.
